Justin Lopes
Justin is the director and principal physiotherapist of Back to Your Feet Physiotherapy Ltd. He has over twelve years sports physiotherapy experience and holds a Masters of Health Science (Hons), a Post Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and a Post Graduate Certificate in Western Acupuncture. Justin is currently the physiotherapist for New Zealand Football's elite referee group, the New Zealand Roller Derby Team, Western Springs AFC, Pirate City Rollers, and the Auckland Roller Derby League. He is the president of the Auckland Branch of Sports Medicine New Zealand and is on the executive of Sports Physiotherapy New Zealand.

He has worked as a physiotherapist with local, national and international football teams including New Zealand Football Ferns, New Zealand Football U23 Football Team at the Beijing Olympics, the New Zealand Football U20 team at FIFA's U20 World Cup in Colombia, the New Zealand Football U17 men's team, Waitakere United in the ASB League and the O'league, The New Zealand Roller Derby Team, Tahiti U20 World Cup Qualifying team, Mt Albert Ponsonby AFC, Three Kings Utd, and North Shore FC.
Justin has been worked for NZ Football since 2005 in their academies, Nike Cup, Elite Referee Programme, and various age group teams. He continues to play football when he gets the chance. He has provided guest lectures to Unitec, Massey University, and the Chiropractic College and he regularly teaches undergraduate physiotherapy courses on sideline injuries, injury prevention and strapping.

Justin holds a current First Aid Certificate and undertakes a rigorous ongoing education programme to remain current. He stays up to date with the current research in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation, which means that you can be confident you are receiving the most effective, evidence-based treatment.

Natalie Brunger
Natalie works part time for BTYF Physio and is looking after the Metro FC Senior Men’s team. Natalie is a graduate from AUT with a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She has gained valuable clinical experience working in private practices around Auckland and enjoys treating a wide range of sporting and spinal injuries.

Natalie has also worked as a Physiotherapist with many sports teams and is currently team physio for Metro FC. She has completed courses in Running Biomechanics, and Dry Needling and plans to further her ongoing professional development through post graduate studies. Natalie really enjoys keeping fit, travelling, trying new things and meeting new people.

Alec Beresford
Alec works part time for BTYF Physio and plays for Western Springs Senior Men’s team.
Alec trained at the University of Otago and graduated in 2007. He has worked in a variety of hospital physiotherapy roles ranging from musculoskeletal rehabilitation to stroke rehabilitation, and is now pursuing a career in medicine, currently completing his 5th year of medical school at the University of Auckland.  

He has a passion for football and has played 1st team football in Dunedin, Christchurch and Wellington and is currently a member of the Western Springs 1st team.

Joel Winders
Joel works part time for BTYF. Joel graduated from Otago physiotherapy school in 2007. Since then he has worked in number of private practises in New Zealand and Australia, as well as 2 years working in NHS clinics in England. He has been the team physio for rubgy and cricket teams in Wellington and has continued some similar sports team work intermittently in Auckland.

Since 2012 Joel has returned to university to complete a medical degree which he will complete in 2017. He has been doing part time private practice work as well as hospital work in the summer.
